GTR is one of a new national GT championship which started in 1998. Starting field usually consists from various types of GT Porsches but also Chrysler Viper, TVR or Marcos together with older cars like Porsche 935 or Chevrolet Camaro Z28 can be seen there.
For 2003 season GT-A class cars were restricted on power to GT-B class cars level. Another change was that in the second race of each event first 8 cars started in reversed order than finished in race 1. Probably those changes and some other factors cause a big downsize of the grids to numbers under 10 on occations.
